SUSPECTED members of New People’s Army (NPA) burned a container van loaded with bananas late Monday afternoon in a remote village in Surigao del Sur province, police reports said on Tuesday.
Reports from the PNP national operations center in Camp Crame said that the container van was owned by DOLE Philippines and that the burning incident occurred at about 5 p.m. on Monday at Brgy. Javier, Barobo town of said province.
