A MEMBER of the New People's Army (NPA) was killed during an encounter with government troops coming from the Philippine Army's 8th Infantry Battalion in Quezon, Bukidnon on Friday, according to the military.
In a report, the batallion encountered the NPA within Barangay Mahayag while troops were conducting a security patrol in the area.
