Nueva Vizcaya to build P35M convention center

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya: A P35-million convention center will be constructed at the Lower Magat Eco-Tourism Park (LMETP) in San Luis village in Diadi town. Gov. Ruth Padilla said the project is expected to become one of the major attractions of the LMETP and will generate income. “We have conceptualized the construction of the convention center based on the growing demands of local tourists flocking the province and the Cagayan Valley region,” Padilla said. The convention center will have business stalls and a car park.

The main hall will accommodate 500-1,000 persons and will generate employment.

  1. I am from Nueva Vizcaya although I am no longer there often. I however remember that the major towns there in terms of population and level of development do not include Diadi although I admit I have never seen the place. I just hope my province of very meager resources will not be saddled with a white elephant and the money (35 million) be used instead for a more useful purpose.
