A 24-year-old female nurse from Cavite City, Cavite, has bagged the P46.2-million jackpot prize in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s (PCSO) Lotto 6/42.
According to the office of the PCSO acting chairman, lawyer Jose Ferdinand Rojas 2nd, this was the first time the lone winner bet in lotto.
In fact, the winner, who is pregnant, only bet P40 for the winning combination of 02-09-15-20-21-30.
The instant millionaire got her winning combination from the due date of their electric bill, from her and his husband’s birth dates and their wedding anniversary.
The winner plans to invest in business, save for the family future and deposit it the money in the bank.
Rojas learned that the winner is not a regular lotto bettor.
He congratulated the nurse as he handed the winner’s check to at the PCSO offices in Mandaluyong City (Metro Manila).
