• Odicta’s sub-group leader falls

ILOILO CITY: A high-value target listed by police as a sub-group leader of the slain alleged drug lord Melvin Odicta Sr. was shot dead after resisting arrest and showing off a hand grenade to a raiding team on Sunday night. Roberto “Toto” Supremo was caught handing a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer during a buy-bust at his two-story house on Rizal Estanzuela Street in the city proper. He reportedly threatened the police with hand grenade, refusing to yield. In 2013, Supremo led a group of city public market vendors against Rex Donesco,
erstwhile leader of market occupants who refused to heed the city government’s call for renovation and improvement of the public market through a private corporation.
