Maine Mendoza officially joins ‘Team O’ celebrities
The annual star-studded Oishi Snacktackular event took place again at the Glorietta Activity Center, gathering the brand’s growing roster of celebrity endorsers.
Dubbed “Team O,” teen stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, Elmo Magalona, Slater Young, Alex Gonzaga and book-writer-turned-comedic celebrity Ramon Bautista came in full force to welcome their newest member, one-half of the phenomenal AlDub paring, Maine Mendoza.
“She’s a great addition to the team because she’s down-to-earth and always game,” said Oishi’s Shera Tiu. “Maine is a fun person and her expressive face makes her the perfect match for the intense ‘anghasim’ flavors of one of our products.
As in the past year’s 2016’s fete was highlighted by the “Make Your Own Snack” booth where guests were able to customize their own bags of chips.
A new addition was the “Snack Shack” where participants, including Mendoza, took the challenge of filling up a two-feet sack with as many bags of the brand’s varied products as possible.
“I had so much fun,” said a panting Yaya Dub at the end of her turn at the game. “I’m really happy to be part of Team O.”
This year’s Snacktacular was made even more exciting with the 70th anniversary celebration of Liwayway Marketing Corporation, the company behind Oishi.
