An overseas Filipino worker who took a wrong luggage and claimed somebody has pilfered some of his belongings at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal 3 learned a lesson from an airline ground personnel. Dante Labay, a returning contract worker from Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Monday almost went berserk after retrieving “his baggage” at carousel number 1 and claimed that most of his stuff was stolen. Labay, who created a scene and got the attention of other passengers and airport workers, started berating airline baggage handler Avon Aras who was attending to passengers at the carousel number 3. Aras checked Labay’s luggage claim stab but turned out it belongs to another passenger. Realizing his mistake, Labay suddenly became cool and asked for forgiveness. Labay was advised to double check the claim stab because a lot of luggage looks alike.
