OFW wins P111.9-M lotto pot

AN overseas Filipino worker (OFW) now sees no need for him to work abroad, and will instead start spending his time with his family after bagging the P111.9-million 6/42 lotto jackpot of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) during the August 4 draw.

PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas 2nd said the 33-year-old lucky bettor got his winning combination 33-35-13-27-05-12 from the birth dates and ages of his wife and child.

The winner, an OFW from Cavite province, claimed his prize amounting to P111,998,556 at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City (Metro Manila) last August 8.

According to Rojas, the winner has no plans to return to his work overseas and would just put up his own business and save some money for the needs of his child.
