THE Bureau of Immigration (BI) has warned aspiring overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) against dealing with illegal recruiters following the recent interception of a number of hopefuls who assumed the identities of other persons through the use of fake documents.

Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente on Thursday disclosed that the latest to be intercepted by immigration personnel at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 1 was a 17-year old girl bound for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, who assumed the identity of an older woman by acquiring a passport and work documents under her name.
