SINGAPORE: Oil prices resumed their rise in Asia on Tuesday, staying above $41 a barrel, as Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) raised hopes of a moderate rebound and announced a meeting of key producers in April.
At about 6a.m. local time US benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for delivery in May, a new contract, rose 20 cents to $41.72. Brent for May was 17 cents higher at $41.71.
