Oil companies implement price increase


Some four oil companies on Tuesday implemented mixed adjustments on pump prices, the second movement for the month of June.

On their separate advisories starting late Monday evening, Pilipinas Shell, Petron, Total Philippines and Seaoil jacked up prices of  gasoline products by P0.50 per liter.

However the same oil firms slashed P0.15 per liter on kerosene. No movement on diesel were announced.

The effectivity on the price change, which “reflects movements int he international oil market”, took effect shortly after midnight.

Others have yet to announce their respective adjustments as of press time.
