FOR the fourth time since September, oil companies are rolling back their respective fuel prices effective Tuesday.
Pilipinas Shell Corp., Petron Corp., Chevron (Caltex), PTT Phils., Phoenix Petroleum and Seaoil have decided to cut gasoline prices by 35 centavos per liter, and by 20 centavos per liter for diesel.
No change was announced for kerosene prices.
Some oil firms announced their respective price adjustments effective from 12:01 a.m. and others from 6 a.m. on October 28 (Tuesday).
For the month of October, the oil companies have already slashed a total of P3.15 per liter for diesel.
Meanwhile, the big rollback in fuel prices prompted the National Council for Commuter Protection to ask the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board for a jeepney fare reduction.
