Oil firms cut pump prices


Oil companies will cut the cost of diesel by 75 centavos per liter and gasoline by 10 centavos per liter on Tuesday, the second price rollback this month.

The price of kerosene will also be slashed by 85 centavos per liter.

Petron, Caltex, Flying V, Seaoil and Eastern Petroleum adjusted their pump prices at 12:01 while Pilipinas Shell Petroleum, PTT Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, and Unioil implemented the price adjustment at 6 a.m.

On August 1, oil firms cut the prices of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by 70 centavos per kilogram (kg).
