• Oil firms to cut pump prices


    AFTER four weeks of successive price hikes, oil companies will cut the prices of diesel, gasoline, and kerosene effective on Tuesday, November 21.

    Flying V and Seaoil said they would lower prices of diesel by 15 centavos per liter, gasoline by 50 centavos per liter, and kerosene by 35 centavos per liter, effective 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday.

    In separate advisories, Eastern Petroleum, Caltex, Phoenix Petroleum, and Pilipinas Shell also announced they would reduce the price of gasoline by 15 centavos per liter and the price of diesel by 50 centavos per liter effective 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.

    Caltex and Pilipinas Shell also said they would roll back the price of kerosene by 35 centavos per liter effective 6:00 a.m. Tuesday. JORDEENE SHEEX LAGARE
