Oil firms cut pump prices


Oil companies are set to lower prices of petroleum products on Tuesday.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell, Chevron Philippines (Caltex), Petron Philippines and Seaoil said they will reduce gasoline prices by P1.10 per liter effective 12:01 a.m. today.

Except for Petron, other oil firms will cut diesel prices by 95 centavos per liter.

Petron will reduce the price of its diesel by P1 per liter.

Kerosene prices will be lowered by 90 centavos per liter.

Last week, oil firms also reduced the price of gasoline by 50 to 55 centavos per liter; 85 centavos per liter for diesel and P1.10 per liter for kerosene.
