OIL companies have increased prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
In separate advisories, Petron Corp. and Eastern Petroleum Corp. said that the price reduction reflects the uptrend in international contract price of LPG for October.
Petron increased the price of its LPG by P1.65 per kilogram effective 6 a.m. Thursday.
It also hiked the cost AutoLPG by 95 centavos per liter.
Eastern Petroleum Corp. increased the price of its EC Gas LPG by P1.65 per kilogram effective 12:01 a.m. Friday.
This translates to P18.15 increase for an 11-kilogram LPG cylinder.
With the latest price adjustment, EC Gas cylinders now trade at an average of P558.65 to P578.65.
