OIL firms will again increase the prices of petroleum products on Tuesday.
Pilipinas Shell, Petron Philippines, Seaoil, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, PTT Philippines, Eastern Petroleum, Flying V, Total and Chevron Philippines will raise gasoline prices either by 30 centavos or 35 centavos per liter. The prices of diesel will also go up by 10 centavos to 15 centavos per liter.
The price adjustment will be imposed between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Last week, oil companies imposed big-time increases, raising the price of diesel by P1.10 per liter and gasoline by 50 centavos per liter.
This week’s price hike was caused by the continued increase in the prices of refined petroleum products in the world market.
