PRICES of petroleum products are set to increase on Tuesday.
In separate advisories, Shell Philippines and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines said they will jack up gasoline prices by 45 centavos per liter.
They will also hike diesel prices by 20 centavos per liter and kerosene prices by 10 centavos per liter.
Other oil firms such as Petron Corp., Chevron, Eastern Petroleum, Flying V Seaoil and PTT Philippines are expected to follow suit.
The price adjustments will take effect between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to the oil firms, such changes resulted from higher prices of refined petroleum products in the international market.
This will be the first price increase that oil companies will implement for the month of December.
Last week, oil firms lowered diesel prices by 50 centavos per liter and gasoline prices by 75 centavos per liter.
