Oil firms jack up pump price anew


Another round of pump price hike were implemented by oil companies Tuesday following last week’s similar adjustment.

In their separate advisories starting late Monday evening, Petron, Seaoil and Total informed that they would conduct an increase of P.30 per liter on gasoline products and P.40 per liter on diesel.

Further, Petron have also raised P.45 per liter on kerosene products.

Reports told that Pilipinas Shell and Chevron also enforce similar price adjustments as all movements took place at 9:00 AM Tuesday.

The latest price increase is the third for the month of May.

The most recent pump price hike occurred last May 21, with oil firms raised P.35 per liter for gasoline and P.25 for diesel.
