Oil firms to slash gas prices

Oil companies are set to cut prices of gasoline on Monday.

In an advisory, Petron Corp., Chevron and Flying V said they will implement the price adjustments effective 12:01 a.m. today.

Petron Corp. and Chevron are rolling back prices of their gasoline by 85 centavos per liter

Flying V will cut prices of its gasoline by 90 centavos per liter.

There was no movement in prices of diesel and kerosene.

The oil firms said movements in the international oil market and foreign exchange caused the price rollbacks.
