• Olongapo media group tested negative for drugs


    SUBIC BAY FREEPORT: Members of the Samahang Media ng Subic Freeport (SMSF) underwent a group drug test to show support to the government’s campaign against illegal drugs and encourage other sectors to do the same. All eight media practitioners, including The Manila Times correspondent, yielded negative result from the test conducted by a private medical clinic. SMSF president Vic Vizcocho of Remate said the drug test was also to prove none of their members use illegal drugs. Earlier, Mayor Rolen Paulino of Olongapo City and nine city councilors also tested negative in a surprise drug test, as well as the village chairmen in the 17 barangay (villages).
