Olympic medallist Todd Bennett dies at 51


LONDON, Greater London: British former 400m world indoor record holder and Olympic medallist Todd Bennett has died aged 51, his club announced on Wednesday. Bennett, who leaves a wife and two children, won 4x400m silver with Kriss Akabusi, Garry Cook and Phil Brown at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984. He was European indoor champion twice (1985 and 1987) and set the world indoor record for 400m of 45.56secs.
