Game of Thrones, True Detective, Girls, Veep, The Newsroom, and more—these are just some of the most sought-after HBO Original Series that you can now watch on your mobile devices.

HBO GO’s broadband streaming service, now made available in the Philippines since its launch on March 10, allows on-the-go mobile users to “enjoy uncut award-winning HBO and Cinemax Original content on multiple devices.”

At the launch, HBO Asia chief executive officer Jonathan Spink announced the company’s Philippine partnership with SkyCable, a    local cable service provider represented by chief operating officer, Ray Montinola.

“This is a versatile service enabling subscribers to maximize their HBO experience using up to three mobile devices. Available exclusively to SkyCable in the Philippines, subscribers of HBO GO can enjoy HBO original content 12 hours after its US telecast.

This helps combat piracy and gives viewers an opportunity to catch their favorite HBO shows earlier,” Spink declared.

Being the second territory in Asia to have this service after its debut in Hong Kong, SkyCable believes this new service will provide greater value to local TV viewing, as it will allows subscribers to have smarter options not only limited to local shows.

“This definitely enhances the value proposition of local viewing. Viewers want more content, and      this allows them to watch their favorite shows without having to depend on traditional television,” Montinola said.

Besides having unlimited access to current and past HBO series, movies, documentaries, concerts and entertainment specials, there are also special content and features added onto the new service.

HBO GO allows up to three devices to be registered, with an interconnectivity feature that has all these gadgets connected into one application. One can create a personalized watch list, and parents need not worry as parental control is easily set up to secure their child’s viewing contents. Uncut, uncensored versions of your favorite shows can also be enjoyed, so your viewing pleasure is at a maximum.

Requiring a minimum of 500 kbps internet speed when viewing your favorite shows, this application  can be downloaded into multiple devices including computers, tablets or smartphones, either iOS or Android systems.

HBO GO is available exclusively to SkyCable subscribers. For more information, log on to www.mysky.com.ph or www.hboasia.com.  The HBO GO App can be downloaded for free from App Store or Google Play Store.
