One of four suspects in P2.4M ATM robbery falls


The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Tuesday night arrested one of the four suspects involved in the theft of P2.4 million from the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) automated teller machine (ATM) in Aurora Boulevard last week in Quezon City. In a press conference, QCPD Director Police Chief Supt. Edgardo Tinio presented and identified the suspect as Normil Bolong, former BPI bank 2nd man compliance maintenance technician and security guard of G4S Cash Solutions Philippines. The suspect was brought to Camp Karingal for further investigation pending the filing of appropriate case at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
