The Christmas celebration gets even merrier with the special preview of the soon-to-open Okada Manila, by far the country’s largest integrated resort that sprawls in a 44-hectare property.
Now on soft opening, Okada Manila has decided to give the country a taste of its world-class entertainment on December 21 with a Christmas concert and spectacular fireworks and lights show.
Gracing the stage are top Filipino artists Lani Misalucha and Regine Velasquez with a special performance by Bamboo. Popular TV hosts Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano will add their star power as they host the said event.
On Friday, Okada Manila revealed in a press conference that they have partnered with Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit—an organization of Filipino musicians—to highlight Filipino talent within their property.
Putting an exclamation to the night is a spectacular firework display beautifully enhanced with a laser light show that, according to organizers, can be seen as far as Quezon City.
Okada Manila is a $2.4-billion integrated hotel, resort and casino by Japanese gaming mogul and self-made billionaire Kazuo Okada. The pièce de résistance of the property is The Fountain, which is as expansive as 50 Olympic-sized swimming pools. The grand dancing fountain was developed by WET, the same company that created the iconic water fountains of Dubai and Las Vegas.
The newest addition in Philippines’ entertainment city will have a full reveal on the first quarter of 2017.
