BACOLOD CITY – Orchard Golf and Country Club carded 113 points to pad its lead to 10 points Friday in the third day of the 67th Philippine Airlines Men’s Interclub championship at the Bacolod Golf and Country Club.
After a 33 in the opening, Orchard golf director Raymund
Vincent Sangil came back with a 32 to lead Orchard’s charge.
Niko Santiano fired a 33 and Rodel Mangulabnan a 29 for Orchard’s three-day aggregate of 351.
Alabang remained at second with 341 while the Bukidnon-based Del Monte had 335 for third.
Defending champion Cebu Country Club is at fourth with 323. Fil Oz Sydney is fifth with 181 followed by Camp John Hay (175), MSU Golf and Country Club (173), Greenhills West (168), Anvaya Cove of Subic (165), Moffet Field Golf (164), Figme-UAE (131) and Filipino Golfers Association-Kuwait (111).
A total of 64 teams are seeing action in the tournament.
