In just a couple of months, world champion Dennis Orcollo has already earned five major titles in the United States for a total earning of $44,350.
Orcollo topped the Derby City Classic 2014 Master of the Table to pocket the $20,000 top prize then claimed the Derby City Classic 2014 9-Ball Banks Division crown for another $10,000 cash purse.
He also dominated the Derby City Classic 2014 14.1 Challenge ($3,300), 2014 Jay Swanson Memorial ($3,000) and The Action Report 38 ($3,000).
The 35-year-old Surigao native added some greenies from his fourth-place finishes in the Derby City Classic 2014 9-Ball Pool Division ($2,850) and Derby City Classic 2014 One-Pocket Division ($2,200).
Orcollo’s collection is expected to blow up when he competes in the World 9-Ball Pool Championships, World 10-Ball Championships, US Open, Japan Open, China Open, among others. Orcollo and Lee Vann Corteza are scheduled to defend their World Cup of Pool crown later this year.
Overall, Orcollo is ranked second in the Az Billiards Money Maker list, behind Gareth Potts of Great Britain ($58,150).
Efren “Bata” Reyes, who copped the Derby City Classic 2014 One-Pocket Division title, is in fourth with $20,550 while Franciso “Django” Bustamante is in seventh with $14,650.
