OutKast FC seeks to avenge its first loss against The Younghusband Football Academy (TYFA) while Hiraya FC tries to keep its winning streak going against Far Eastern University (FEU) in the Philippine Football Federation Women’s League (PFFWL) today at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila.
OutKast and TYFA meet head-on for the second time in the inaugural season at 8 a.m. even as Hiraya and FEU tangle at 10:30 a.m.
The skidding OutKast is out to redeem itself from a 2-4 setback against TYFA in their first meeting last June 4 and at the same time arrest its two-game slide.
TYFA, on the other hand, looks to regain its form after suffering a 0-4 whipping from Green Archers United FC last week.
Meanwhile, Hiraya goes for a third straight win when it tackles FEU, which is also coming from a victory.
Hiraya enjoyed a back-to-back win over OutKast (4-3) and University of the Philippines (2-0) at the resumption of their PFFWL campaign last week.
FEU scored a 4-2 upset against the latest University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) runner-up University of Sto. Tomas.
A win by any team in the double-header would shake up the standings of the 10-club league where defending UAAP champion De La Salle University is currently leading.
