Over 1,000 students, OSY get summer job from DSWD


AT least 1,440 students and out-of-school youth have started to undergo training under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Secretary Corazon Soliman on Tuesday said the trainees who started to work under the Government Internship Program (GIP) on April 18 will earn P350 daily, that is equivalent to 75% of the prevailing minimum rate in Metro Manila. The training will end on May 17.
