• OWWA assists families of fire victims in Macau


    The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will assist the families of the victims who died in a fire incident in Macau last week. The two casualties, a male and a female, both hailed from Pangasinan. According to OWWA Administrator Rebecca Calzado, families of OFWs who are active members of the agency who die from an accident will receive death and burial benefits of P220,000.00. The families are also eligible to avail of the OWWA Education and Livelihood Assistance Program.
