The parents of slain international car racing champion Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor on Friday offered a P1-million reward for any information that will lead to the arrest of those responsible for the killing of their son.

In a news conference in Quezon City, Enzo’s father, Tom Pastor, announced the bounty for the arrest of Enzo’s wife, Dahlia Guerrero, and her alleged lover, businessman Domingo “Sandy” de Guzman.

Dahlia and Sandy were charged with the crimes of parricide and murder respectively by the Department of Justice (DOJ) before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.

Both charges are non-bailable.

Dahlia, meanwhile, has since been placed on the wanted list of the International Police (Interpol) after issuing a “red notice” for the widow on reports that she fled the country after the incident.

Tom Pastor gave the contact numbers of Supt. Danilo Macerin of the National Capital Region-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (091784209921) and Quezon City Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit’s Police Senior Insp. Rodel Marcelo (09185315178).

On June 12, 2014, Enzo died from gunshot wounds after motorcycle-riding gunmen ambushed the truck he rode along Congressional Avenue in Quezon City, which left his assistant, Paolo Salazar, injured.

Pastor was traveling to Clark, Pampanga, in preparation for the final leg of the 2014 Asian V8 Championship Series season.

Preliminary investigation showed that de Guzman provided a Pasay City (Metro Manila) policeman he allegedly hired, named PO2 Edgar Angel, the means to kill Pastor while Dahlia gave information on her husband’s whereabouts.

The gunman confessed and pointed that de Guzman and Dahlia were the masterminds of the killing.

The Justice department pointed out that even before the confession of the gunman, the housemaid of the Pastors had executed an affidavit about the illicit affair of the suspects.
