P22.5M SET ASIDE FOR LESS PRIVILEGED IN VIZCAYA

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya: An annual P22.5-million worth of livelihood opportunities for the elderly, persons with disabilities, indigents and out-of-school youth are set to be released to 15 municipalities, according to the provincial government. Officials said the yearly development fund of P1 million each for the 15 municipalities in the province will be increased to P1.5 million in 2014 and in the succeeding years, making it P22.5 million annually. Gov. Ruth Padilla said they would be putting up the Nueva Vizcaya Livelihood Center for the “livelihood, skills training and trading centers in the province to boost livelihood opportunities among the poor sector.”
