P24-M ‘shabu’ seized from Kerwin Espinosa’s aide

ALBUERA, Leyte: Police here have seized about P24 million worth of shabu from a trusted aide of alleged druglord Kerwin Espinosa who surrendered to authorities on Friday. Police confiscated three kilograms of shabu, which were wrapped and ready for selling, from Max Miro, whom town police chief, Chief Insp. Juvy Espenido, identified as Kerwin’s trusted aide and is believed to be a hitman for the Espinosa group. Miro went into hiding in Cebu with his family for three months after lawmen raided the house of Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa. Miro, however, gave himself up to Albuera police for fear of his safety.
