P30M shabu seized in Cavite

At least P30 million worth of Methamphetamine hydrochloride (more popularly known as shabu) was confiscated by a joint police teams operation in Imus City, Cavite over the weekend. Cavite Police Provincial Director Jonnel Estomo said the illegal drugs were taken from a vehicle that was abandoned by the drug couriers after the police set up a blockade in the city. He added that members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) sought the help of the Provincial, Intelligence and City police units after following the couriers from Metro Manila. He added that the shabu was placed inside hollow block bricks.
