Police arrested a suspected big-time drug pusher and recovered seven plastic bags of high-grade shabu, with estimated value of P50 million in a buy-bust on Friday in Pasig City (Metro Manila). Arrested was Saadodin Badron, 26, a native of Marawi City and residing at 35 Rawatan Street, 648-C. Palanca, San Miguel, Manila. The Eastern Police District (EPD) acting director, Chief Supt. Romulo Sapitula, said the suspect had been under surveillance for a week until the raid was carried out in Santolan, Pasig City. The high-grade shabu was found in transparent plastic bags inside Bardon’s black Mitsubishi Mirage. Similarly, other big-time drug dealers were arrested by members of the Pasig City Police Station at BCDA C5 Road, Taguig City also on Friday. Sapitula identified the suspects as Sukarno Bansil, 37, and Mahatir Malaco, 23, all from Upper Bicutan, Taguig City. Recovered from Bansil and Malaco were one kilo of shabu; a .45 caliber Norinco pistol loaded with eight pieces of live ammunition; and a Toyota Innova (ABH 2534). Sapitula said the two suspects were top drug traders in Metro Manila’s eastern area and nearby cities.
