THE Department of Health (DoH) uncovered an anomalous Barangay Health Station (BHS) project worth P8.1 billion and that “heads would roll” because of it.

“Heads will roll. Big names, small names, past and present. There will be no sacred cows. Heads will definitely roll,” Health Secretary Duque said in a news briefing on Monday of the project that sought to build 5,700 barangay (village) health stations to ensure that every barangay will have access to primary care, using public elementary schools as base stations.
