• P80-MILLION PUBLIC HOSPITAL TO RISE IN LEGAZPI

    LEGAZPI CITY: In the process of achieving economic and tourism development, the city government of Legazpi has included health services in its agenda with the building of a public hospital for less privileged communities in partnership with the Department of Health. City Mayor Noel Rosal said that construction of hospital will commence this year on an P80-million budget, with the Department of Health shelling out P60 million and the city government contributing at least P20 million in counterpart funds. Rosal told The Manila Times that the project is expected to be finished before 2015. “Upon completion, the city health office will manage the operation of the hospital, which will have modern facilities and equipment,” Rosal said.
