Pacers forward Copeland in hospital after reported stabbing


NEW YORK: Indiana Pacers forward Chris Copeland was being treated for stab wounds in a New York hospital Wednesday his team confirmed following reports the basketball star was attacked as he left a nightclub. The Pacers said Copeland was stable after suffering wounds to his elbow and abdomen but did not give details of the incident that led to the injuries. Copeland, 31, was in New York because the Pacers are playing the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.
