Pachanga, Kaya show offensive prowess

First division clubs Pachanga Diliman FC and Kaya FC showed their might over lower ranked clubs in the United Football League (UFL) Cup group stage on Tuesday at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

Pachanga Diliman FC dominated Agila MSA FC, 7-0, during the first game of the match date.

After a slow game for Pachanga in the opening half, their offense stepped up as team skipper Hamed Hajimehdi and Stephen Permanes scored consecutively in the 26th and 31st minutes.

Another goal added to the comfortable lead of Pachanga when Hossein Doustdarsefidmazgi converted on a pass from Nathan Octavio in the 47th minute.

Down 3-0 after the first five minutes of the second half, problems piled up for Agila after goal- keeper Enrique Montserrat was given a red card for holding the ball outside the box and a foul on Hajimehdi.

Consequently, Hajimehdi sank the penalty kick to further extend the lead of his club to 4-0.

Pachanga team captain Hajimehdi continued to make his presence felt on the pitch as he pulled off a perfectly-timed pass to Jinggoy Valmayor for the squad’s fifth goal and also clinched his hat-trick to complete his impressive performance in the game during the 65th minute.

Reuben Silitonga completed their demolition of Agila with another goal in the 79th minute.

Meanwhile, Louis Clark posted six goals in Kaya FC’s 11-0 thrashing of non-league club Fleet Marine FC.

Kaya went slow in the first half, scoring only a single goal courtesy of Clark through Fleet Marine’s flimsy defense. Kaya shifted to full throttle in the second half with Clark scoring five more goals.

New player Tishan Hanley and Azkals striker OJ Porteria each added a brace in their offensive barrage.

Lastly, Kenshiro Daniels also etched his name in the scorecard with a goal and four assists in Kaya FC’s commanding win in Group B.
