Pacquiao defends welterweight
title vs undefeated Horn|

Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao will face undefeated Australian Jeff Horn Saturday night (Sunday in Manila) and hopes to extend his win to three since his return from retirement and after a loss to Floyd Mayweather in 2015.

The match, dubbed “Battle of Brisbane”, will take place at the Suncorp Stadium in the afternoon, local time, and will air in the US at 9 p.m., ET, according to online reports.

ESPN will carry the free broadcast, marking the first time Pacquiao has fought on basic cable in the US.

Pacquiao, who will be defending his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title, is the heavy favorite against Horn.

A points win for Pacquiao is most expected, especially given the fact that he hasn’t scored a knockout since 2009, according to the report.

Pacquiao is 59-6-2 and his last two fights were wins over Timothy Bradley, avenging an earlier loss, and Jessie Vargas. The fight is a big deal in Australia, and Horn, the hometown favorite, is confident he can stop Pacquiao.

Before the main event, the undercards are:

Super flyweight: Jerwin Ancajas vs. Teiru Kinoshita
Featherweight: Michael Conlan vs. Jarrett Owen
Middleweight: Shane Mosley Jr. vs. David Toussaint
Super lightweight: Jonel Dapidran vs. Brent Dames (untelevised)
Super bantamweight: Brock Jarvis vs. Rasmanudin
Light heavyweight: Umar Salamov vs. Damien Hooper
