PAGASA monitors new LPA

A Low Pressure Area (LPA), located 950 km east of Casiguran, Aurora and will affect the Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, is seen embedded along the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting certain parts of the country, the weather bureau said on Tuesday. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains will prevail over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected over the rest of Luzon. The public is advised to stay vigilant over possible flashfloods and landslides.
