    THE country’s flag carrier Philippine Airlines has partnered with Voyager Innovations, the digital services arm of Smart Communications Inc., to power its online boutique platform.

    Kevin Hartigan-Go, vice president for PAL’s Ancillary Business Unit, said they have employed the services of Voyager E-Commerce Marketplace (VEM) Solution to make Philippine Airlines’ novelty products and collectible items easily accessible to its customers.

    “With just one click, a shopper can choose from premier exclusive and co-branded items. If you are on the go, this online store is your shopping haven,” Hartigan-Go said.

    Shoppers can choose from a variety of products – from clothing and apparel, to electronics, travel essentials, beauty items and food – by simply visiting the 24/7 shopping site PAL Online Boutique Store (boutique.philippineairlines.com).

    The VEM Solution is a cloud-hosted software-as-a-service (SAAS) platform with extensive features catering to the needs of enterprises that want to bring their transactions online and was developed by Voyager Innovations.

    Voyager Innovations VP for Digital Commerce Mitch Padua said that VEM enables mid- to large-sized operators to build, manage and run world-class multi-merchant marketplaces.

    Voyager has been empowering enterprises to grow thru ecommerce by providing them a platform that will allow them to easily sell online.

    Some of the items on sale at the PAL Online Boutique Store are Sport 75, Heart 75, Southern shirts, Honeycomb polo shirts and hoodies as well as purse & tote bags by Team Manila as well as collectible items such as the Boeing 777 die-cast model, PAL bears by Natalya Lagdameo, PAL 75 anniversary fans and the PAL coffee table book.

    The site is enabled to accept payment through PayMaya Business, the enterprise payments solution of PayMaya Philippines, Voyager’s financial services company.

    Voyager E-Commerce Marketplace and PayMaya Business are part of the Voyager Business digital platforms for enterprises.

    The online portal accepts Visa and Mastercard payments. Soon, the online Boutique will also accept Mabuhay Miles as payment.

    PAL’s virtual store is not just for online spending; shoppers also get to earn Mabuhay Miles every time they buy items online. A 100-peso purchase at the PAL Online Boutique is equivalent to one Mile.
