Malacañang is cautious on filing charges against members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) who were responsible for the killing of 44 police commandos in Maguindanao last week.
In a news briefing on Monday, its spokesman Edwin Lacierda explained that they can only hope that the MILF will demonstrate “sincerity” in forging peace by helping the government find closure to the massacre case.
