The Palace warned Sandra Cam on Saturday against using the Commission on Appointments (CA) as a venue to launch her personal attacks against Justice Secretary Leila de Lima.
Palace deputy Spokesperson Abigail Valte was reacting to Cam’s threats that she will release a four-part video of the Justice chief and her lover if the CA confirms de Lima’s appointment.
“The CA is not a venue for letting out whatever ax there are that you want to grind personally against Secretary de Lima,” Valte said in an interview aired on Radyo ng Bayan.
“It’s prudent not to respond to threats like this because what the CA evaluates is the competence of the President’s appointees, in the case of Secretary de Lima, as Justice Secretary,” Valte added.
De Lima, 54, is mother of two. She was previously married to Plaridel Bohol but their marriage was already annulled.
