The government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) have reached agreement on issues raised in the drafting of the Bangsamoro bill, Malacanang said on Friday.

Citing a joint statement signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. and MILF chief negotiator Mohagher Iqbal, Palace deputy spokesman Abigail Valte said both parties “have concluded discussions on the various issues involving the draft Basic Bangsamoro Law (BBL),” after a series of “productive meetings.”
