PUERTO PRINCESA CITY: Nineteen personnel from the Philippine Navy (PN) and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) graduated on Monday from a three-day Comprehensive Training for Marine Park Rangers at the Apolinario Jalandoon Naval Station in this city.

According to the Tubbataha Management Office, the training for the 19 PN and PCG personnel was designed to equip law enforcement personnel for future assignment to the park with better understanding of their role in marine conservation, particularly as they comprise the first line of authority in the Tubbataha Reefs. This is in a bid to ensure the strict protection of the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park.
