• Pampanga police get new patrol cars

CITY of SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga: In a bid to strengthen the campaign against criminality, the provincial government turned over 24 patrol vehicles to police forces and other law enforcement agencies in Pampanga. Gov. Lilia Pineda and Police Director General Ronald de la Rosa handed over to various recipients – cities of San Fernando and Mabalacat, except Angeles being highly urbanized and politically separated from Pampanga, and 19 other towns. The three others were given to Central Luzon–Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Pampanga Police Office and the Pampanga Public Safety Company. The 24 patrol vehicles are worth P20 million. De la Rosa said the vehicles will greatly help in the mobility of the police in their operation against criminality, including terrorism.
