AT least six towns in Pampanga are set to experience a 10-hour power interruption on Saturday. Grid operator National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said this is due to the scheduled maintenance work which will affect the distribution Utility Pampanga III Electric Cooperative Inc. (PELCO III). Among the affected towns are Apalit, San Simon, Macabebe, Minalin, Masantol and Sto Tomas in Pampanga. In an advisory, the NGCP said the power interruption would occur from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to facilitate replacement of conductors along Mexico-PIMU 69kV line. Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion.
