LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: The provincial government of Pangasinan is set to buy 52 units of multi-purpose vehicles, also known as Asian Utility Vehicle (AUV) this year. Most of the units will be assigned to the Liga ng Barangay (Barangay League) presidents in 48 towns and cities of the province.
In a resolution approved in Monday’s regular session, the Provincial Board authorized Governor Amado Espino Jr. to buy the vehicles, which can ensure a smoother delivery of basic and other important services to the Pangasinenses.
