Gourmets, foodies, food critics, and friends gathered to celebrate excellent food on the first anniversary of Dusit Thani Manila’s The Pantry.
The Pantry has eight stations serving an impressive selection of Filipino, Italian, Indian and Pan-Asian cuisines masterfully prepared by specialty chefs.
For dessert aficionados, there’s the thick chocolate to dunk the freshly fried churros in, and homemade artisanal ice cream flavours at the Churros and Ice Cream station.
Bossa Nova queen Sitti Navarro serenaded guests with her cool voice. As a fitting giveaway and for measure of good luck, guests were presented five different kinds of salt to express thanks for a year of superb flavors and a memorable experience in dining.
The Pantry immediately attracted the attention of gourmets, foodies and critics alike when it opened a year ago as it presented the “farm-to-fork” dining concept—a revolutionary system that brings organically grown farm produce from the source to the table. This distinctive concept allows the extensive use of locally grown produce, ensuring diners the high quality of food, the freshness of ingredients, and the authenticity of flavors.
For the Yuletide Season, a host of traditional Yuletide treats and sweet delectables will be made available to be enjoyed at home, or given as the perfect Christmas gifts over at The Pantry’s Grab & Go section, “Lechon-to-go” will also be made available to guests who want to enjoy the superb quality and flavor of this restaurant specialty for their Christmas parties at home or in the office.
